I come from a background in precision manufacturing, specifically the production of polycrystalline diamond compacts at US Synthetic. It's an environment where tolerances are measured in microns, mistakes are expensive, and consistency matters. That kind of pressure builds discipline, attention to detail, and a habit of solving problems methodically.
In manufacturing, I worked within Lean and the Toyota Production System, focusing on identifying inefficiencies, standardizing processes, and eliminating waste. In IT, that translates directly into how I approach troubleshooting: isolate variables, test assumptions, document results, and refine the process until the issue is resolved and repeatable.
I didn't move into IT because it sounded interesting. I moved into it because I was already doing it. Building systems, breaking them, fixing them, and understanding what's actually happening under the surface. That shift wasn't a leap โ it was a direction.
I'm currently preparing for CompTIA Network+ while building hands-on labs and projects to strengthen my networking and troubleshooting skills. I don't rely on theory alone. If I study a concept, I implement it, test it, and make sure I can explain and reproduce it.
